I have a blackberry bold 9700 without a logo of the t-mobile,does it mean it's fake?

i have a cousin who has has the same phone as i have and i saw a t-mobile logo but mine doesn't have.so is mine fake? what the hell is t-mobile?? i'm not from the states.
