I think my fish has constipation.
I tried feeding it peas, but they sink to the bottom (bite size, dethawed, deshelled, peas). He dosn't want to eat anything.
Second, this happened after I changed the water, I tried keeping the water same temperature.
Now I'm noticing a couple of white spots on his purple tail, not sure if they were there before.
He now just floats at the top, barely moving, on his side.

(Anyone who is telling me he will die, please do not post your comment....my question is how to fix the problem, thank you)
I got the fish a few months ago and he's been fine...dancing, swimming, up and down and all around, just plain playing. Basically speaking, he was very active. He has lots of water. He's beautiful and was very healthy.
the fish store people were so clueless its not even funny. Every website says to feed it peas.
Ok I was able to feed it cut peas with a eyebrow tweezer..I spoon fed him lol
No, no water dechlorinator...I know three people who have fish bowls smaller then mine and their fish are fine. No heater, filter, no special water stuff...just a bowl with a betta. Mine has more...the tank is colorful with places to hide...no dechlorinator...doubt that's the case.
