right now i have an lg cosmos phone which is a basic phone good for texting and calling but that's about it. i am on a shared plan with verizon and i pay $100 a month for 2 phones 700 minutes shared and my phone has unlimited texting. i want to switch to a nicer phone like a droid and i am thinking of buying one on craigs list even if its used. my contract still has over a year left and i was wondering what it would cost me to upgrade to the droid since it requires a data package. will i have to extend my contract if i add a data package onto my line or what?
