Linux and Skype and an acer note book?
I have linux Ubuntu pre installed on my note book, when I start up, it gives me some icons like messenger etc, I have down loaded skype from the skype website but where does the skype icon appear because I need it to start the program. Its not like windows where an icon automatically appears on the desktop. Can any body advise me.
