She is very prego, and has been for awhile, i put her in the little floating nursury to have her babys and she stayed in their for about 2 weeks, at this point she was huge but no babies. so i put her back in the tank with the males and they just had a frinze with her, she is get very large again, when i say large i mean large, i had another mollie have baby's and she was half her size, so my ? is, is their something i'm doing wrong, is there a way to help her have this baby's ?

I think the best thing to do is stress her out as little as possible. If you move her too much she could actually abort her pregnancy if she feels like conditions are not right.

If you can lore her into the floating nursery without having to net her or catch her, it would make things much easier for her. Also if you can see her gravid spot, see if it's really large and dark and if her stomach is squared off. At that point I would lore her into that nursery. If you see her eating habits changing where she doesn't eat then it's closer to her giving birth.

Congrats. :-) And I think your doing well. :-)

Bring the temp up this will encourage her to have the fri
With Mollies you want to have some salt in the tank

i have had mollies b4...

i think that ur fish must just be very pregnant...keep her in the nursery 4 a while...

1 time i had 2 keep 1 in a nursery thing 4 like a month and a half...

don't worry i think its fine

Mollies can take up to 75 days to have one set of fry. My molly took almost 80 days but then had 60 fry. She was hugh!

There are very few TRUE or should I say pure mollies that you can find at the pet stores, however every evey now and then you come across one. They will take longer than 60 days to have their fry. She will have them when she is ready. Trying to force her to have them faster can stress her out more leading to an ich out break. Do not try to encourage her to have them faster than they are ready to appear. Sounds like you got lucky with this fish.
Also, she could have had fry during the evening and some could be hiding in the tank or even have gotten eaten. Which could explain her size change.
