when I accelerate at an incline or when I speed up after I stop or slow down. I recently had both front struts and tire rods replaced and a wheel alignment. It's not the brakes because I know what they sound like when they're worn out.
 
Get the distributor checked, as well as the timing chain, I got the same problem with my 86 AE80 Corolla. If it persists you may have to let a mechanic check through your ends, cv joints etc etc, but I'm confident it may be either of the two I suggested.
