I bought the car for 2000 $ in December 2009 with 133k miles, since then I have changed the fule pump(450$) and the starter(150$) and it still had over heating problem,well yesterday was the end of that car, it started to over heat And I put water to cool it Down and i believe (matter of fact i know but it hurts too much to admit but i forgot to put back the radiator cap and drove about 20 minutes then when i got home the car died now it cranks and starts but there is a loud cranking sound it makes when you give it gas and when you crank it ,my nehibor is a mechanic and as soon as he hear it he Said its a bent pistol in the engine and that I need a new engine but I am tired of this car so my question is should I sell it as it is or for salvage/parts and if so how much is a reasonable price (I live In Texas) please I need any info I can get thank you so much and god bless.
