i have a 98 dodge dakota 3.9 V6?

im having a problem in which the truck dies every where suddenly and da idle is rough... the other the truck was off and the relay started cliking and i could hear the fuel pump pumping gas while da truck was off.......another time when da truck shut off when i did a stop i turned it back on and da rpm went up to 2000 rpm without stepping on the throttle
