I have a 98 Chevy Tahoe. I am having trouble starting it in the morning.?

I have to try 3-4 time to get it to turn over. Every time they test my battery its fine. I have a brand new alternator. It only does this when it sits all night. Once the engine has run for a couple minutes it is fine. When I turn it off and and then back on, it starts normal. Its only in the morning time its giving me problems....I need a little advice before I take it in to the shop because I don't want the mechanics to take advantage of me.
 
1 ck engine lite on..free scan any auto prts store
2 ever been tuned up?
3 throw in a can of fuel injector cleaner for laughts.[may help]
4 before cranking leave ignition [key] on on position...for 15/20 seconds..that may bring fuel pressure up if u have clogged filter or weak pump.
