i have a 97 toyota tercel and it wont start?

the car basically cranks and feels like it will start if i press on gas... but for some reason when i press on gas it doesnt feel like its giving it any and car wont start. car has oil and everything but i cant figure out what the problem is...please help me out i need to fix this soon.
 
you r right in one sense,,,pressing on the gas doesn't give it any......because its fuel injected...and the computer decides how much gas and when to give it.

i wonder as to your maintenance...and i don't mean you changed the oil last yr... i mean tune up...like in the book...
