It is a 5speed manual.. At first we were thinking that it was a fuel problem because it would bog down but when you pressed in the clutch and revved it up to where the Rpms for in the 3's or 4's it would start driving again. But you would have to continuously rev it up. The check engine light is on.. We have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump and the cap on the engine. My bf hooked it up to the Diagnostic scanner and it said that the temp coolant sensor was bad and the engine is misfiring. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Does this mean I have to buy a whole new engine? The mechanic said that the coolant sensor can cause the engine to misfire. PLEASE HELP, I don't know anything about cars.
