My car is great, never had any problems with it until recently. Accelerating my car was getting tough, I would put my foot on the gas and it would only go up to 20 mph, have to take my foot off and press it again to make it go up to 40, then possibly again...about a week ago I was told I was using bad gas, because it also seemed like my car was "trying harder" than usual. So I went to an auto shop and they said to try antifreeze in it, I put that in and then filled my gas tank with Shell gas. The next morning my check engine light went on and I am still having the acceleration problem. I was thinking of just trying to use up this gas tank to see what happens, but I just don't know what's wrong with my car...any ideas?
