i have a 97 ford crown vic police interceptor and want more out of it.?

now i'm parking the car and taking the motor out to overhaul it. Now i realize that it is the same as a 97-98 mustang but i would like to know what specific parts work best for this particular motor. the car also has the high speed transmission (shorter tail and higher shift points) so what kind of mods would be available for this. Also i would like to swap out the current rear-end for a ford 9" but is this really a way to go? i wouldn't mind having the ability to lock up both rear wheels and leaving to beautiful black strips on the pavement. I've already looked into the high flow cats and an x-pipe, but i'm wanting to supercharge the motor (money is not an issue here) so exhaust will have to wait until after the super comes in. i would like brands that work best with this motor, stuff that people have had awesome luck with. i already run the car on amsoil lubricants and on an Ea filter (provided through Amsoil) and have been looking at getting a cold air intake for it, but so far nothing has come up. What will work and do i need to get a new MAF?
