This problem first happened after I had the head gasket repaired, it warped and didnt blow, and since about july I have had the c/e light on. Mechanic said it could have been from old gas or old spark plugs/wires. The car has 159,000 miles on it. Well, changed the plugs for bosch ones and a standard set of OE wires. The light was still on after a few hundred miles. Had it checked again. Could be the throttle position sensor, changed the sensor and reset the comp. Problem is still there.
Finally took it to a different mech and they said that my v-tec engine was missing its v-tec head. My question being ... does the head matter or not? - because the car still runs fine but I want to get the c/e light off to pass emissions and get a tag.
