C chikara_neko Guest Apr 24, 2009 #2 If the car has a button on the shifter or dash that engages/disengages overdrive, try pressing it. You may have bumped it unknowingly, Ford loved to put those on the end of the shifter. If that's not it, have the valve body looked at.

S shocktrooper342003 Guest Apr 24, 2009 #3 Could be the 3-4 shift solenoid, or a bad lockup converter. I'd have a Ford dealer take a look at it.
