I have a 94 pontiac grand prix and it will only start on the fourth try when

i try to start it it makes a? noise like it wants to start but again after the fourth try it does what is that? please help
 
needs tune up? injectors clogged? check engine lite on..free scan at advance/autozone/oreillys
