i have a 94 caprice 9c1 and drive it in overdrive daily is this bad?

i live in philly and i drive this car all day and it runs gud but i was wondering if driving in overdrive all the time instead of drive is bad for my tranny should i start using drive instead of overdrive and use overdrive on the express way and if so wut speed should i use overdrive
