water but not from the radiator ? now the steering locked up and all the gauge lights are on. another thing is the belts arent working and its throwing something up from the belts when the belts where turning. now the battery light says there is no juice, and there car is dead. what is the problem, is the car a piece of grap now ??? please help!

Your water-pump bearing/seal may be worn out causing the water-pump drive pulley to throw engine coolant all over the engine compartment. This could cause the belt(s) to slip. The alternator, power steering pump, air conditioner compressor etc are all belt driven. If the belts are slipping, the power steering would not work, your battery would not charge and most of the symptoms you are describing could possibly be the result of the water-pump failure. If this is the problem, and the engine has not over heated the car should be ok; replacing the water-pump may solve these problems for you. Good luck.

You need a new water pump and new belts. The water pump threw coolant on the belts and they are slipping on the pulleys.
Not a piece of grap, just needs a new water pump and belts.

Was the water & anti-freeze coming into the floorboard of the car, or was it coming from underneath?

If it is inside the car, it is from the heater core

If underneath the car, it is possibly the "weep hole" this would mean the water pump is bad.......

It would be nice to run out and buy a new one, but most people just can't afford to do that, so, if you find the right mechanic, you can make it work.
I would ask at autozone, or the parts store in your area if they know anyone that works on cars on the side.
