i have a 91 toyota pickup?

i have a 91 toyota pickup and i was having a problem with it over heating... luckily i had a parts truck which was an 89... well anyways i ended up changing out the motor for the one in the 89, was just wondering if anyone knew everything is compatible because it just seems to me that the old motor had a bit more power than the new one i dropped in... if anyone could also post some pics of the vacuum lines under the hood on the passenger side of the motor to the center would be great... im not good with diagrams i like to look at actual pics... thanks
