i have a 91 honda accord with starting problems?

my cars runs good when the engine is cooled down but once it gets warm it stalls out and will not start until about thirty minutes later when it cools off... im pretty sure its is the ignition control module.. but im not sure where it is.. is it in the distributor or is it on the fire wall.. if you think its not the icm please let me know im open for suggestions. Thanks guys

I had a '91 Prelude that had constant stalling problems that no one could pinpoint, and it wound up being a bad distributor cap. I have no idea if that's the problem you have, though, because it didn't seem to have anything to do with how heated up the engine was. I'd just go to start off from a stop and it would sit there and do nothing!
 
If your coolant temperature sensor is disconnected or defective, this would create the problems you have described.
 
Very common problem on the old Hondas. It looks like a little computer chip inside the distributor. THere are two phillips screws that hold it in place, and 3-4 wires on it. One of the wires cmoes off at a 45 degree angle. Part is around $70 at Autozone or Napa.

it has a single lead coming from the distrutor cap with 2 wires either side.
