i have a 86 buick centry not running it gets fuel gets spark i checked the

distribitor could i have mest some? thing up when i took it out i also moved it to see if it was locked up and it wasnt there was also a wire off the carb. i hooked it up but still nothing can some one please help me out it would be highly apreaciated
how do u know if the distibutor is back in time with out having to try to stat it every time u move it one half inch
