I have a 30 day late payment from honda finance about 2-3 years ago.?

I have tried to get this negative mark removed but they wont budge. I have paid my acct off in full but still they wont remove it. Does anyone know anything else i can do. it is the only negative mark on my entire credit and it is really bringing my score down. thanks
