Yes if you've got 30K miles on a 09 car. Thats twice as much as normal. The heat dont help either.
Up grade to EBC slotted rotors and brake pads. They run about $160 a pair and about 80 for brake pads. You notice an increase in your brakes both in stopping power and wear and tear.
 
It's normal to have worn pads even earlier than 30k miles, so you did pretty well. Have them replaced before they bite into your rotors and save some money in the long run.
