The trans from start up wont shift, you put the peddle to the floor it just acts like the trans is slipping and wont speed up. Dealer checked it said couldnt find the problem. Saturday, I was on the expressway and it seemed like it wouldnt shift, 65mph and nearly 5krpms . Tuned it off and on it ran fine...Until I was going up a hill..it started slipping noise again..the engine light came on andalmost died out. I pummped the piss out of the acellerator and it ran but was back in theslipping mode. Lasly I got to a lot stopped, then the car reved but would not move..Turned it off it moved but you could hear the engine loudly. Now it works on and off but the engine light keeps going on and off. Im just worried cause this all happened with my kids in the car, and have read about this problem not going away..Any Ideas, Im going to the dealer tomorrow..
I have a 2006 Jeep GCL, with trans problems. Dealer cant find it?
