I have a 2005 toyota rav4, every time I get an oil change i am a quart low. The suv does not leak oil and I check it just before and after the dealer changes it. They tell me that's normal, Is that true?

It may be burning oil. The best way to check this is to have your spark plugs looked at for fouling.

normal no if you get any oil change and after its done and it not ful they didnt add enough oil and really with a 05 shouldnt use a quart between oil changes and thats not normal either i have a 98 dodge doesnt use a quart in 5000 miles it has 200,000 miles thats not normal if its low after it was doen they didnt fill it right if its check in a few days after and its low not normal if its a month not normal shouldnt be low any time thats normal look under it for wet spots check tail pipe for oil
