my check engine light came on when i put about 2000 lbs of roofing shingles in back of the truck what could that be
(keep in mind it says i can haul up to 3500 lbs

either an 0-2 sensor or a throttle position sensor will sometimes set a code when those are in a hard pull,id have auto zone pull a code from it and see which sensor set the light to come on,its probably nothing serious ,but still needs to be checked, hauling a load has nothing to do with the light coming on,it may be a sensor just starting to go bad on it,good luck.
