the cable? the brake lights are not working.I pulled the E-brake up,started the engine, applied the brake and then placed the ignition to the ON position the gear shift moved....would the cable be the problem or something else. If it is the cable I really would like some suggestions on how to replace it without taking the car to the repair shop. I hope someone can help
With the E-brake up, I started the engine(car running) I applied the brake, turned the ignition key to the ON position(ex.you have the OFF,ON,then START position,in the ON position engine is no longer running) after doing so I was able to get the gear shift to move. I hope this is a better explanation
