At red lights, I notice that the rpm's will go up and down and on 2 occasions while backing in to my carport, the engine died all together. I have not had the vehicle long nor has it had any tune up yet. I will use either 87 octane or 89 depending on if I am going on a longer trip. I was told by the dealer mechanic that using 89 will get me 3 to 5 more mpg. Any suggestions? thanks!
