I have a 2003 Chevy Cavalier, and after it rains it doesn't want to start, any ideas?

I recently had the battery and alternator tested. The alternator needed to be changed so I did that, the battery was good. However it seems that after it rains, my car fails to start. But after a couple hours of the rain stopping and everything is dry it starts right up usually. Any suggestions?

i had the same prob with my car which was a grand marques. and it was due to starter problems when it got wet and then i had a volvo and when it rained water was somehow getting into my oil...so you might want to get either of those checked on your car...and maybe get a second opinion on your alternator....better safe than sorry--hope you get your car fixed

You might want to check the coil and see if you might have a crack someplace. If they get any moisture in them they don't wnt to fire to start the vehicle. It's a good place to start.
