M Matt New member Sep 22, 2011 #1 The transmission is a CD4E, same as the Ford Escape. Is it possible to use a 2WD tranmission in its place? Are they the same? If not, can something be swapped over from the fubarred 4wd tranny to make the 2wd tranny work?
