217 is ok.The 253 is a bit too hot.I would add an oil cooler if it was mine.Too hot drastically shortens your oil life.If your stting stopped in traffic a lot try not too.If you get a cooler get one with a thermostat.Otherwise you have to cover it in the winter.Too cold a temp is very bad too.
