i have a 2001 honda accord which wont start?

they towed it today after 2 days and i couldnt move it because it wont start they put a new starter and put new spark plugs and its not the battery either as we put another one in and it still wont start so the mecanic says they dont understand why and i never had any problems before they said it is getting gas to the engine and they will check to see if it jumped the the timing??and they said it is getting gas to the engine i just had it in the honda shop the day before this because they had a recall on the airbag inflator and was wondering if they did something to it that caused this but the mecanic called me and asked me if i have a security key because the light blinks on the radio and i aaid it always has done this and no i dont have a different key as i lost the door clicker a long time ago he said sometimes it wont let the car turn on without this ...??does anybody have a any idea??? my husband starts a new job in a few days and this is the only car we have thank- you!
