I have true dual exhaust , with two 40 series flow-masters, they are loud in side the car, i like the sound and don't want to change it. But is there is way i can minimize the sound inside without changing the exhaust system?? ie: put dynomat under the floor carpet or any other ideas besides taking them off . thanks
country boy you are stating facts . i only asked for options for to reduce the sound thats all. This suppose to be a site where you ask questions and get answers.

mayne your lucky..i love those cars i had to trade mine in..police kept messin wit me..but i got a ranger..but yea those grand marquis are freakin nice..but anyway to answer your question..you can have them to out sound proof around your car..only for whats on your car...

you will still be able to hear the siren and all...my dad friend has a BENZ and he can't hear the rain on the outside..because he has the top of the line..so you can have that put in your car or you can buy a filter..hey i tried to help im not a genius..lol..but i wish the best for you and ya GREAT car

As the old saying goes: You made the bed now you've gotta lay in it. If you'd have chosen a Dynomax muffler from their site you could have listened to every one of their models. They also warn you about the interior vibration and racket.

Flowmaster also informs the buyer of how much if any interior resonance you'll be saddled with. The Flowmaster 40 series advertisement warns the public the interior of the car will sound like a brass band.
