I took it into a small shop that recommended I take it a shop that works on transmissions. Should I take it to the dealership for a diagnosis first or take it to the auto shop they recommended? I know it will be costly, what advise can anyone give me or what questions should I ask before hand, other than the obvious, cert mechanic, warranty, guarantee.
I have a 2000 mazda protege with transmission problems...?
