...smoke. what is the problem? The mechanic has searched for a leak. He flushed the engine (needed to be done) and lost 1/2 gal of water. No sign of a leak on the cement that jeep was on. There is no sign of water in the oil and no smoke coming out of the tail pipe. He pressured it up and lost 3lbs of pressure which could be from the gauges. He ran the jeep again and no water was lost. What does this sound like? I don't want to get on the road and be left... Thanks for your answers..
 
Check the fans they have a lot to do with the cooling system
also check the thermostat and water pump and when its running hot step on the gas a little and it should run cooler
 
i had this same problem on a 93. the answer was burping the system, as these are very VERY difficult to remove air from the coolant systems.
