I have a 2000 jeep cherokee and need help identifying a replacement piece?

I had a little accident and want to replace the damaged piece. Can anyone tell me what the the black piece on the back rear side next to the tail light and bumper is called? It is square and clips in just under and in front of the tail light
how do I post a picture?
