I have a 2000 ford explorer, when in gear the drive shaft turns, but the car does not m?

. Is this a telltale sign ,that the tranny needs to be replaced or can a repair or rebuild be possible? The vehicle has about 120,000 K. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
 
hey frank dont trust me im here to waste my valuable time, not help people.needed a second opinion, you got it, spider gears is slang for bevel gears. thanks im like 6 inches tall now.naw im kidding, but dont ask if your afraid to accept the answers. guess i shoulda stated im an ex fleet mechanic huh
