I have a 2000 chevy malibu , when I stop at a lite it runs rough like jumps like it's

about to shut off.? I forgot to mention , that my signal light just clicks and the bells ring but nothing show up in the dash board, saying to check anything
You can hardly hear it running it is so quiet . I purchased it in 2005 . Any ideas , ned help please , low on money
