I have a 1999 Chrysler Sebring that stalls out and won't start up till it

sits and cools down. What is it? At first it would just stall out while driving down the road, but it would start right back up. Now it won't start up till it sits for awhile. I changed the map sensor drove it for like 2 hours straight it ran fine then i parked it for like 10 minutes started it back up went to back out and it died. wouldn't start back up till a few hours later. my check engine light isnt on. it was once and a friend hooked up a machine which told me it was the map sensor. but now even after puttin a new one on it is now doing the same thing again? I just don't know what to do now. It has a 2.5 motor and is a 6 cylinder. Please help!!!!
 
Sometime ago I had a Mercedes that used to just pack up every so often. After many visits to many garages it turned out to be the alarm system. This had been giving trouble and had been disconnected but not properly. The alarm system was causeing the engine to shut down for long or short periods of time. I experienced the same problems with a Suzuki Vitara. Just a thought.
