I have a 1998 Mercedes Benz C280 Sport, how long will it last?

How long/how many miles can I expect my 1998 Mercedes Benz C280 to last. It currently has 220,000 miles on it. I get it serviced by the dealership at the recommended intervals. Any additional advice for prolonging my vehicles life?

If its serviced, well maintained and you take it for a good old spin on a regular basis - it can go past 500,000.

That's like asking how long a person will live. It depends how it was taken care of.

How long it lasts depends very much on how it has been driven and maintained.

The C280 is a pretty good car but keep in mind that there are many electric, electronic and hydraulic systems on this vehicle. When something does go wrong, tracing down the problem can become problematic.
