click. What does that mean? I drove to the store and it was working perfectly fine, when I got back home I went inside of my house and came out about ten minutes later, and tried to crank my car but it made a clicking sound. I got a jump but it still wouldn't crank, I replaced the starter but it still makes a clicking sound I don't think its my battery because all my lights come on. What could have went wrong that quick?

battery......u shud always replace it first on the list........lights only take maybe 1/4 what it takes to start ur vehicle......so pull the battery out and take it to a parts store and have it tested/charged....is is free in most parts stores.....the next step is to check the cables to the battery and or starter and make sure tehy are clean and in good condition.......good luck
