transmission.? It doesn't do the normal buzzing/ clicking sound. I know what that is and that isn't it. Its sounds as if there is a vacuum leak when I put it into drive. No sound in park, neutral, reverse. Less of the noise in the lower two gears. I will be bringing the car in to have it looked at in a few days, but I just want a heads up to what it might be. I don't think this car has a modulator valve on it because it has the transmission shift solenoid instead. Right? I could be wrong. That is why I am on here.
As far as the performance of the transmission goes, it is fine. No slipping or hesitating going into any of the gears. I am in need of a regular trans filter service but I doubt that is the cause. BTW, it seems to be coming from the passenger side more than anywhere else. Hopefully, someone can give me a clue as to what is going on and not some smart @$$ answer.
