I have a 1998 4x4 ford ranger and want to know what it takes to put a 302 in?

I have a 4.0 in now and want to replace it with a 302 v8. i have no idea what i need for a transmission (automatic). do i need a whole new PCM or will the current one work? will i need to find a new transfer case? where is the best place to find more on this conversion?
 
The simplest way to do this is find a 98 explorer with a v8, and use that as parts car...basically they are the same vehicle....

otherwise you will need everything from the radiator to the rear axle...
