I used jumper cables and tightened the battery connections or terminal , i don't know exactly what its called, and it started just fine. The car ran perfectly fine until about a week ago, so i just bought a new battery...had to tighten the terminals really tight so it can start cause they are a little corroded. Now the car won't start, but i jumped it and it started again, it is not the alternator since i turned if off and started it again. Is it definitely the terminals , and how do i clean them?
I have a 1997 VW Jetta. A couple weeks ago my car wouldnt start...?
