P PETE New member Feb 23, 2011 #1 I have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 starts ok but after 2 minutes of running start to idle very ruff no acceleration and back fires and a vacuum sound coming from the air box. After about 1 minute of this it clears up and runs fine
