yellow sticker that says 2006.? What does that mean? Is that the manufacturer's date of creation or expiration? My car won't start so want to decipher whether I should get a new battery of alternator. Thank-you!

that is properly when the Battery was made but im not to sure it might just be a coincidence that you Battery has stopped work but you should get a new Battery just in case.

Would be cheaper to get a new battery. Worse that can happen is you spend money on a new battery and end up needing an alternator, but at least you'll have a new battery too!

However, if you take out the old battery and bring it to AutoZone or one of those places they can test it for free.

Call Kragen's and see if they'll charge your battery, they do it for free if the battery's not too old.

The sticker on the battery is probablly just when the battery was manufactured. I would take the Jeep to a shop and get it checked out. I like turtles.
