I have a 1997 jeep Cherokee and for the past two months it turns off...?

I NEED HELP FROM A PERSON WHO KNOWS ABOUT JEEPS…I have a 1997 jeep Cherokee and for the past two months I have been having problems with it. In the morning the Jeep starts fine for a few minutes but then turns off. I turn the ignition switch again about two or three times and them it turns on again... as I drive it, it is running smooth but when I am about to make a stop the Jeep looses power and it starts to act like if is running out of gas. If I give it gas it will stay on but not for long. If I drive it in the high it will try to do the same thing. I change the spart plugs and the wires. I paid a guy $302.00 for basically guessing at the problem; because once I left the shop, it did it again. I need help
