I have a 1997 Ford F-150 and the catalytic converter is failing and i was wondering if i could take it off, and if that would make the car break down also dose the catalytic converter have any thing to do with the exhauste and if it dose if i fix the catalytic will that fix the exhauste leak that i have. How much would it take to take it to the mechanics
