I have a 1996 Honda Civic DX hatchback with check eng light. It dles rough and revs by

itself.? Had Auto Zone do a code check which said O2 sensor. Replaced that with no change. If I disconnect the throttle position sensor on the back of the throttle body rough idle and revving go away. But volt meter on 3 prong TPS show power surge from somewhere else. Other issues on car that may or may not have impact. A/C wont push cold air as compressor wont hold charge and tension pulley bearing is shot. Also having some issues with excessive jerkiness in gears 1-3 when press on or release throttle. Your thoughts.
