spark to the coil.? i have a 1995 dodge ram 1500, motor is a 360 5.9 the motor turns over, but wont start...no spark to the coil. not sure if its the computer, or something else.
If there's no power reaching the coil, there's definitely a reason for that, and it's probably not the computer. Backprobe the electrical connections to see if power and ground reach the coil, if not--could be a bad fuse, or a bad connection further up the wire. Oh, yeah, check to see if there's an impact-triggered shutoff switch, those usually cut off the fuel pump and the coil and can just go bad.
if there's no spark coming from the coil, but you got power to the input side, check the cam or the crank sensor,if there's no power going to the coil on the input side,check the ignition switch on it or th fuses,good luck.
